Prof. Tor Dahl from the USA is speaking at the World Productivity Congress, which will be held at Sun City from 22 to 24 September 2008.
One of the world’s foremost productivity experts, Prof. Dahl will explain how it is possible to: |

“ Improve organisational performance by at least 300% without firing anybody, and at the same time reducing stress and increasing job satisfaction. ” |

Prof. Dahl, who is presently Chairman Emeritus of the World Confederation of Productivity Science, has studied and worked in countries like China, Norway, Sweden and Indonesia, where extraordinary growth was achieved through productivity improvement and important institutional changes. Indonesia became an Asian tiger in 1986, Sweden went from 14th to 1st in manufacturing productivity in 1993, Norway is the most productive country in the world by per capita income measure …and China is the most productive country in the world by growth.
People may think that such dramatic and relatively quick productivity gains of 300% in their businesses are impossible, but Prof. Dahl confirms that, |
“I'll show the key variables that we know are linked to high performance… and how quickly South Africa can apply this to all sectors. . I'll use data from South Africa for simulation and modelling, and project what is possible to achieve in both the short and long run.”
Then join leading businessmen, industrialists, academics, administrators and productivity experts from around the world at the 15th World Productivity Congress, Sun City from 21 to 24 September 2008.
